E-mail Account Information

The College provides email accounts for students, faculty and staff. Faculty and staff personnel with permanent personal computers will use the Microsoft Outlook as their primary e-mail client. Students will remotely connect to Microsoft Outlook Web Access.

  • In order for you to use your account you will need to be connected to the Internet, have a valid account. For Web mail access you need MS Internet Explorer 5 or newer web browser.
  • Web mail users will need to point your browser to or click the link "Check your BPC email here" from the Brewton-Parker College home page ( Type in your user name, password and domain (bpc), if prompted.
  • Student e-mail accounts are REQUIRED at Brewton-Parker College. All course information and other official College communication will only be sent to campus email addresses.
  • All student e-mail accounts have a 5 MB storage limit. If you reach 5 MB, your account will automatically lock and you will receive notification that you have reached your storage limit. You will not be able to send or receive any e-mail until you delete some of your stored e-mail.
  • E-mail accounts of students that no longer attend Brewton-Parker are removed from the server after drop/add each Fall semester.
  • LISTSERV or Mailing List: Please do not use your e-mail account for Internet mailing lists. We recommend that you get an e-mail account at a free service like yahoomail or hotmail.
  • E-mail must not be used for purposes inconsistent with the mission of the College.
  • Transmission of chain letters, unrestricted bulk e-mail, junk e-mail, abusive, obscene, or libelous electronic messages are not permitted.
  • Users may not conceal, mask or misrepresent their identity when sending e-mail or other electronic messages.
  • Deliberate transmission or propagation of malicious programs such as viruses, worms, Trojan Horses or participation in denial of service attacks are subject to disciplinary and possible criminal action.
  • Students must not send Campus-Wide messages without proper authorization from Student Affairs.
  • Faculty and Staff must not send Campus-Wide messages without proper authorization from the appropriate Vice-President.
