2016 Summer Bridge Program

What Summer Bridge Is:

Summer Bridge is a remedial concentrated, six week program offered to refine and advance high-school graduates’ math and verbal skills needed to succeed in college. While attending the program, eligible students are encouraged to take core classes, thus jump-starting their collegiate career. The goal of Summer Bridge is to meet the individual needs of our students with personalized attention and close contact with their families which ensures comfort and easy transition. The program is designed to develop confidence and academic ability for every student that may be intimidated by the college process. To ensure that each student receives optimal attention, only 40 seats are available.

Expected Cost:

The total cost includes Accuplacer testing (twice), academic advisement, general instruction, tutoring, personalized assistance by faculty/staff, room and board, gym and equipment use, books and materials.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Summer Bridge students can qualify for both federal and state financial aid to cover the cost of the Summer Bridge program.  In order to see what types of aid and the amount of financial aid a student may qualify for they must complete a 2015-2016 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and must also complete a financial aid interview on our Virtual Financial Aid Office website.  Students can complete their FAFSA by going to and they can complete their financial aid interview by going to
