Transient Student

An applicant who is currently enrolled in another accredited college or university and applies to Brewton-Parker College for a specified period of time to take courses as a visiting student. Transient students should be advised by their home institution regarding selection of courses to be taken at Brewton-Parker College. It is the applicant's responsibility to show that all pre-requisites for courses to be taken have been met. Transient students are considered as non-degree seeking students at Brewton-Parker College.

  • Letter of Transient Permission
    • A letter from the Registrar or Academic Dean at the institution in which the applicant is enrolled that includes a statement of good standing and eligibility to return to the institution, permission to attend Brewton-Parker College, and the specific term the student plans to attend. A list of the courses to be taken at Brewton-Parker College may be included. OR
    • Letter of Transient Permission from the Registrar indicating the specific term the student plans to attend, permission to attend Brewton Parker College, and the specific courses student is approved to take guaranteeing credit to be transferred back to the home institution.
  • It is the student's responsibility to contact the Registrar's office either in person or via email for registration.

*Students may not enter degree programs until regular admission requirements for this institution have been satisfied.
