Mrs. Janice Toole is honored to have been chosen as Teacher of the Year for Toombs Central Elementary School. Mrs. Toole began working at the school in 1994 as a pre-kindergarten paraprofessional. Her work with the students at school as a paraprofessional for fourteen years led her to the decision to return to college to earn her degree in Early Childhood Education in order to have her own classroom. In May of 2008, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brewton Parker College. She is currently in her seventh year of teaching.
